Biggest question mark of my lifetime as a football fan is why Reggie Bush didn’t become a top 10 all time nfl running back. this man should’ve been up there

He wasnt built physically for the 16 game NFL season. He was very exceptional in New Orleans; especially in the playoffs.. but he was not an every down back in an era of everydown backs.

Quarterback excluded, Reggie is the greatest college football player of all time and the most electric. The dude made a videogame like play in every game and what's undermentioned is his mindset and selflessness. He was a humble, hardworking team player that just balled without acting like a primadonna. Thanks for the memories Reggie and there will likely never be a player like you.

Reggie could have been the greatest slot that ever existed.
@YoungBlackJedi Жыл бұрын
I get that, but he was the perfect back. Had patience, vision, speed, elusiveness made him dangerous running between the numbers with a relatively strong offense line throughout his career in NOLA. Plus he can catch out of the backfield via screens, wheel routes etc. Reggie in the backfield just opens up so much for the offense he was that dynamic at the Running Back position. His career was amazing to watch unfold, amazing days!

Love how they both kept it real especially about McDaniels and other coaches head coaching attempts. Whole lotta people are gonna say VY, or Cam, but for my money Reggie is the best college player of the 21st century. Quarterbacks have it easier, they control the ball. Reggie didn't even start half the time and was putting up all purpose yards comparable with anyone, ever. That Fresno game late as hell in the midwest is to this day the damndest thing I have ever seen one player do on a football field. People throw around the "hes a big play threat, he can go on any play!" way too much, with Bush it was actually true.. To this day the biggest shock of the top of the draft I can remember is when the Texans passed on him in 06. EVERYONE had them taking Bush...it worked out, but was sooooo risky at the time. It wasn't until later that he was actually given a chance to be an every down back, and it obviously wasn't the same. Still a really, really good pro and one of the best college players of all time.
