I just can't stop listening to Julian Lage's performances... What a great musician, what a great sensibility. The melody is king, not any virtuosity attempt to disturb the notes the music is asking for.

Hey Nicholas! Yes, I took the photo from my seat up front, and I think just the Deluxe was used.

Glad you like the sound! I used a Zoom H4N. Great little digital recorder with built-in stereo x/y mics. Had it resting upright on my chair between my legs.
