Love it! I can spend hours walking around the market. The Sis got their stuff - mission accomplished! Thanks for the tour.

It can get crowded and hot at the public market. I try to go early every time; before 7am, when I shop at the Kalibo market. The Kalibo Public Market is scheduled for renovations. All the markets in our province seem to be going through a modernization. If it doesn’t rain next Sunday, I’ll film Sunday market day in Kalibo. They block a street and it becomes an outdoor farmer’s market. Oh yeah! Dazel and Leana love going to Mr D.I.Y. You’re welcome my brother.

I am sensing a modernization happening in Kalibo. Brand new hospital, Asia Pacific Medical Center, opened 9 months ago. Grand Gaisano opening this month; will be the largest mall in Kalibo. Brand new hotels springing up in Kalibo. New esplanade by Lambingan Beach. The public market is scheduled for renovations. And currently renovations at Pastrana Park and the Capitol area. The mayor is calling it “Bagong Kalibo”; new Kalibo.

Hi guys, another excellent and fun video. I was both surprised and impressed by how the stores were clean and sanitized as opposed to most other markets in the Philippines. There is an old saying: "You can take the girl out of the store but not the store out of the girl". But in all fairness; think how we men get excited at Home Depot. Take care my brother and we love you all.

There is a modernization going on in our province of Aklan. Even the Numancia Public Market in our town; ongoing renovations. It used to be dark and always wet inside our public market; now it is nice and clean. Dazel and Leana get excited every time they go to Mr D.I.Y. Yes my brother; I get excited when I visit the Wilcon Home Depot here. It is a massive hardware store here. Take care our friends. Love you both.

They are modernizing the public markets in our province of Aklan. Even in our small town of Numancia. Our public market now is not so muddy like before. The area where they sell fish and meat is now nice and clean. Renovations are not yet finished; but I’m excited to film it once completed. 😁

Juliana market is not for the average Filipino to shop type of market. It’s too expensive to buy fruits and vegetables. I rather go to the old traditional Kalibo wet market and you get more for your money.😊😅😮
@dazeltv13512 ай бұрын
I thought their prices for fruits were similar to the Kalibo fruit stand area. Yes; the produce at the wet market is probably cheaper; but the crowds can be overwhelming and the cleanliness is much better at Juliana Market.

So you think they change the price based on your appearance ? Do you think it’s like a skin tax for a foreigner?
@dazeltv13512 ай бұрын
Yes! Vendors here change the price based on your appearance. That is why I usually buy from vendors that advertise their prices. For foreigners, you will always get charged more for everything here. It's best to have your Filipina do the negotiating or a Filipino friend. People in the Philippines think all foreigners are rich.😃

@@alexd8933 60 pesos per kilo. 😁 It is what it is when they price their goods. They will try to get the most for the items that they are selling.
