Such a lovely journal. Great creative idea with the benefit of using up some supplies. They do start to pile up and I’ve only been buying them for 2 years.

What a fabulous journal Juliana, I love your style - can I ask what you do with them, are they just for display or do you journal in them? Happy Holidays xx
@JulianaMichaels4 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! Because the cover is decorative and it can stand on its own I have it sitting out with my other Christmas decorations! It is not a true journal, but I don't really know what else to call it. LOL
@janetg.4 күн бұрын
It’s beautiful but what do you do with it and does it have a purpose?☺️
@JulianaMichaels4 күн бұрын
Thank you! It's purpose is purely for the making of it and then because the cover is decorative and it can stand on it's own I have it sitting out with my other Christmas decorations!

QUESTION: What do you do with this junk journal? I ask because uou have pictures of people that are not your family and you say jounal, but there is really not much place to write so what is the purpose of this junk journal? I am new to junk journaling. I understand scrapbooking, but not this book.
@andrealavigne78244 күн бұрын
So I have heard of junk journaling, but have never understood just what it is. With yours, since you have tags & such that pull out of pockets, do you intend to add anything else to the tags/cards/etc.? Or is this the end product that just gave you the opportunity to play with different pieces? Just curious. I have done projects with scrapbook pages in albums that have featured things like flip books & pull-out tags to include extra photos or journaling or allow easy access to ephemera/memorabilia I included, but they have always served a purpose like that. I like your journal & how you decorated it. I will admit, I'm by nature a very end-product-minded crafter, so maybe that's why I don't "get" junk journaling or art journaling. I hope at least something I've said makes sense, as it seems rather hodgepodge when I read it. Anyway, thank you for sharing your project. Take care, have a great day, & happy holidays! :)
