Gruden got the raw deal, the NFL hated him and what he said about Goodell, they found an excuse to destroy him in the media - and executed that plan. Gruden is fighting the NFL in court to restore his name, and it looks like he's winning.

Nah we played trash teams for the last 4 games our defense stepped up and Josh Jacobs really stepped up Carr was mediocre especially in that commanders game

Gru should have had the ability to take an extended leave of absence to take care of everything. He’s a great Coach and a great Raider. I guess everything happened so fast that no one really knew what to do in that situation. Hope to see Chucky Gruden back some day. RN4L Big respect to Maxx Crosby for speaking about this.

If you look back at that 4-game win streak the Raiders were on, they faced backups or starter QBs that became backups the next year. They aren't a playoff team. They haven't been with Gruden, and they still aren't. Trading for Davante Adams was about as dumb of a decision as trading for Antonio Brown or Randy Moss.
