The Bengals Steelers game scheduled this Saturday helped Chargers big time. If Steelers win, Chargers can treat Sunday's game as a bye and rest the starters. If Bengals win, Chargers can ball out versus the Raiders and get the 5th seed.

I think they might rest their starters regardless. Why? Jim Harbaugh would love nothing more than to get another crack at his older brother John in the playoffs, and several of the Chargers players are begging for a rematch with the Ravens. I feel like with that being said, they could rest their starters regardless.

Not happening. Yes I might be biased but here's what they would be up against. Travel fatigue, probable Sunday Night game, in Baltimore which is the toughest place to play in the league at night, plus they are thin on the interior defensive line, and outside of Ladd McConkey they don't have a major receiving threat. Did I mention that this is Playoff Greg Roman too which I'm telling you is a recipe for disaster especially good defenses (The Ravens have allowed the fewest points in football since Week 11).

We won’t play y’all, what with both being wild cards. If you do win, I guess we’d rather be the #5 seed and play Houston. But then we won’t be able to rest dudes - if Pittsburgh wins, we’re “locked in” at #6 and could give some starters the day off vs dah Raidahs. We’re banged up; and, realistically, we’ll probably only have one good game in us. Either way is okay, bottom line don’t like the Steelers much. You guys still need help even if you win (and Den loses), right? Miami needs to lose vs.. (checking).. Jets, right? That could happen. 🤷

Dude the chargers almost beat the chiefs both times and usually every time they play. Chargers swept the broncos this season easily. KC’s biggest threat would easily be the chargers when it comes down to the afc west. Bo Nix is just gonna throw picks if they played the chiefs again.

Chargers fan here: Ravens are not a good matchup for us in the Wild Card round. Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry would be too much for our defense. Losing Josh Palmer hurts. No disrespect to the Texans, but a much more favorable matchup for us. Go Bengals!

If I'm the Steelers I'm taking care of business because the Texans are the only team that I think that they could beat in the playoffs (I would say the Ravens but after what happened back in Week 16, thats not a good sign)
