Steve Smith is the reason why I’m a Panthers fan so I’ll always love him but his attitude and the way he mutually chose to leave the team still hurts. Cam needed him, especially in the Super Bowl. Cam never really had a superstar receiver except for an old 89.

Steve knew Cam was a selfish POS right from the start, that's why he was frustrated. Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams careers were completed derailed because of Scam stealing goal line touchdowns from them. Those guys get the team all the way to the goal line and Scam does a 1 yard QB sneak just so he could do his stupid dance. Watch highlights of Cam in the end zone after a couple years in Carolina, no one is in the end zone with him, the whole team walks back to the sideline. Selfish, and it was proven during the Super Bowl when he wouldn't dive for a fumble.
