I always admired Cynthia Lennon. She was a beautiful lady and even though thru her pain she was very strong. And Julian Lennon was always by her side. I read Cynthia's books and felt sorry for her at times. I found it hard to understand why John treated her as he did, but yet she still loved him. I feel so sorry for Julian at this time. I hope I can pick up her books about John sometime. I also enjoy the story of when they were dating and how they met too. Cyn also reminds me of me sometimes as well. I had a relationship with a guy a few years ago and despite how the guy treated me at times, I still loved him. Kind of like how Cyn loved John and still cared for him even after the split and when John was with Yoko. But I like another guy right now.

Yoko only was interested in John once he became rich and famous. If he had been poor and obscure she never would have given him a second glance, nevermind marry him and have his baby like Cynthia did.

Cynthia was beautiful inside and out. Julian inherited her gentle personality and artistic traits. I lost my mother when I was 9, I'm now 50, and I still think about her everyday and miss her still. I had the wonderful honour to meet Cynthia after my old band The Merrymakers (together with the School of Music in Piteå, Sweden) performed Sgt Pepper Live in Liverpool 1994. A beautiful song for a beautiful woman of class and sung by an extremely talented singer/songwriter who is her son.I much preferred Cynthia to Yoko because of them both Cynthia was the one who shone the brightest and despite her husband being John Lennon she never forced her presence or opinions onto anyone. Julian your Mother was a truly loving, caring woman and this video and song tribute from you shows that you are just like her. R.I.P. Cynthia you will never be forgotten.

I grew up on Beatles. Liked those early family photos of you. I believe you were a big influence on the Lennonesque nursery rhyme lyrics and not just Lucy in the Sky. Got your first album. You’re very talented and have found your path. Your dad was my favourite musician, and I learned about life’s complexity by studying him. Cynthia obviously brought you up well. This was a beautiful tribute. Our loved ones never really leave our hearts and minds. Their voice continues to guide us through life’s decisions. Peace and love.

Julian this is a beautiful tribute to your mom, she is a kind gentle soul. I read her book several years ago and sorry for the pain she and you went through growing up. Your right , your mom is safe above and will be waiting for your return , Jesus is coming you will see her soon. Until then she will always walk beside you everyday. God Bless you both hugs> heidi

So good to see someone here 'l know' Heidi. Feeling quite shocked to realise this news just now, as l opened up YT, and saw Julian's new post. Such a beautifully, dignified, courageous lady, with a son of the same qualities. l'll have to try a get a copy of her book. Hoping Julian has a partner to support him in his grief.
