last year, in may, our class had taken a trip to france.. and of cause we had to go to disneyland. and this was the one song i was hoping they would play.. and once i left, it played. near the exit, someone was there standing in a mickey mouse outfit just waving, and ‘he’ said “your dream will come true.” on the coach, back to the hotel, i literally began crying in tears singing this song, and it made me think about not wanting to grow up. so.. thank you disney. ❤️

+rextony22 When Julie was performing in 'Victor/Victoria' on Broadway, she developed hoarseness in her voice. She underwent surgery to remove non-cancerous nodules from her throat. However, her singing voice was permanently damaged as a result of the surgery. She tried a couple of times to bring it back, but she was unsuccessful. :'( However, she has gone on to write numerous children's books.

Playin' music professionally since kid, I was a dufus and never paid much attention to the arrangers' Identities till my forties. Now that I'm just slightly less unconscious, it's something I would like to be more aware of... Sometimes arrangers like Nelson Riddle (working as late as the mid-80s, I think) would work out lush arrangements that were closely tailored to the specific ranges and abilities of the individuals. Like this one, where Ms. Andrews finishes in that high register with such effortless clarity. I don't know who arranged this, just sayin' they deserve recognition too. Thanks for sharing this.

The instrumental intro is the first I've heard that might be the actual tune to the short 4- line prologue to this song (that I've only seen in written lyric form... never actually sung).
