With Haneuls solo you might have been reminded of Take Me Out To The Ball Game! It was sampled from that song and a play on words.

Personally, I think that it would have made more sense if Julie was yelling "stop touching me!" considering how everyone was touching her in the mv.... But, I guess the idea the company actually wanted for her character in this was that she wanted to be an idol but was afraid of loads of people looking at her. Julie did not like Kitty Cat at all when it was given to her, but says it has grown on her immensely. Definitely check out her dance practice for this one.... it's.... hot. lol Apparently, the CEO has said that in retrospect they should have gone with a different song for Haneul's solo, as Play Love Games doesn't match the vibe of the group and it doesn't showcase her talents very well. Still, it's a cute-ish song.

The lens of fame definitely makes sense with the context but there was just so many handsy people, that's all I could think about. I will brace myself and check out the dance practice. Play Love Games is definitely the definitely the outlier on the debut album. It felt like strategically they wanted something that could appeal to the younger demo, maybe to hopefully get a few in the door, and now they realize it wasn't really worthy of Haneul, especially since the whole debut is A+ and then there's a little gap before that one. It is cute though.
