I'm 74. I grew up watching and listening to music like this. Especially Julie London.! She was dreamy as they used to say. She appeared on Laramie some and she was on Emergency with Robert Fuller. She was something.!

She does have a great voice! I have always enjoyed her role on Emergency! too. Today I went to see the animated movie "Bad Guys" and I noticed in the credits that they used a bit of this song with Julie London when one of the characters is singing in the background. I had a feeling it was her!

Julie was at first reluctant to get on stage back in 1954 - I´m glad she did. The ones that want to become "big stars" and "idols" never amount to anything! The recorded version of this has an amazing arrangement.

I love how she starts off, just sitting there, with her head cocked to the left. She's such a magnetic personality, that you feel - or, at least I do - like it's a show JUST for me. And, remember: she wasn't some young woman. She was - by Hollywood standards - 'middle aged.' But, she's unbelievably sexy. I love MS. London. A beautiful woman is like fine wine. They have lived life, ad, I've always found a mature women magical.
