The joke itself is somewhat flawed in that plenty of older virigins have no issues at all and plenty of sociopaths and psychopaths are promiscuous but as someone who analyzes comedy like that, it's needlessly boring. @@KoreaMojo I'm no psychologist but I remember an AMA with someone claiming to be a "real life psychopath" and the subject of sex came up. He said he honestly had no sex drive, couldn't care less. He had a boyfriend and said it was, in more polite terms, an enjoyable sensation to sleep with him but he didn't crave it like normal people. I got the impression from that and some other comments it's a known thing with psychos. But again, the whole of my knowledge on the subject comes from a reddit thread.

My house growing up was haunted I used to see things moving in the night and strangers whispering in my ear, when I was older I moved out and lived in my own flat but still the strange noises and creeping shadows persisted. I stopped sleeping and stayed up for days at a time because every time I turn the lights off, mayhem ensued. Eventually I am getting so little sleep, I'm talking 30 mins spread out over 24 hours, that I collapse, and my partner calls an ambulance, the doctor wanted to discharge me because physically I was fine, a few cuts and bruises and a classic case of exhaustion, but nothing physically wrong, but the nurse is concerned and sits and talks to me for hours, she recommends a psych referral to the doctor and the doctor takes her advice. I am moved to a psych ward and get prescribed anti-psychotics and over the next few months the ghosts that taunted me every night were finally banished, I am eventually discharged and go home with a low dose anti-psychotic prescription, able to turn the lights off whenever I please without the madness that used to be summoned forth. I owe that nurse a massive debt of gratitude, because thanks to her, I finally have a normal life as up until my diagnosis of a mild psychotic disorder I genuinely believed I was being taunted and tormented by spirits, and it was physically destroying me by not allowing me to sleep for days at a time.
