I've worked in education, the non-profit world, and now Corporate America. I will tell you the almost 4 years I've been in the corporate world have been the best. Maybe it's the company I work for, but hands down, it's the best job I've ever had. People respect my time out of office. No one calls when I'm sick or on vacation. I have earned bonuses and been given stock options. The health insurance benefits are freaking amazing and I have a good 401k plan. I have 3 weeks paid vacation and personal time. You get none of that with a MLM.

Literally came here to say the same thing. I've had two PAOs due to severe hip dysplasia. Just fresh out of surgery as of January of this year and the only thing that helped me walk again was my ortho and a whole ortho team and MAJOR surgery. Not some pseudoscience stuff lol She's unhinged

I pointed this out on one of Erin's video's and now I can't unsee it. Almost every Optavia hun I see looks faint. Edit: To be fair to the second lady, at my highest weight even a few pounds makes the difference between walking alright and hurting REALLY bad. That doesn't mean it's good to do Optavia, but I actually believe the story about the woman being able to walk after a week and a half, there's a fine line between bearable pain and unbearable pain.

It’s always confusing to me how often they often they talk about working in “Corporate America.” I would love for them to define that for me because in my mind, corporate jobs are management jobs in huge companies, jobs like Human Resources, finance-related jobs like bookkeeping and accounting, marketing and advertising jobs, and anyone working to further a big company- aka not an entry-level job/retail/state or government jobs/etc. To me, there aren’t THAT many people who work in “corporate america”

I support anti-mlm because I was poor, and I see mlms targeting people just like me. I was able to feed and house myself (or stay with relatives when I couldn't), so I was lucky, but I also believed that the only way for me to get that stuff permanently was to create a business or own a rental property. I dreamt of what sort of landlord I would be, and what kind of business I could start, but I never had money nor the knowledge to do either. There are so many people like past me, who know they are at risk, but can't get out of it, and these horrible corporations prey on them. I don't want others to fall for the same fake dream of business ownership that I did, and I hope with these videos, we can coax out people who may have joined on that false hope. (For anyone wondering, I am now working a stable job, have reliable transportation, have a supportive and loving partner, and even own a home. I'm living a dream past me never had the courage to dream, and I owe none of it to the money I wasted on an mlm.) 💩

Thanks for posting more about these Reps! I had an Optavia Rep tell me that if I did their 5 & 1 plan that it would “fix” my stomach issue & that I would be able to eat… My stomach issue is that I have a partially or completely paralyzed stomach at all times (it’s called gastroparesis) I’m thankful I didn’t try this even if I wasn’t anti MLM b/c I was so malnourished at the time I would have gotten refeeding syndrome & could have died from this persons suggestion. (I had to have a feeding tube placed & we finally found a medication that finally works.) For me, eating 5 “small meals” is impossible & I was absolutely appalled that someone saw me struggling & thought that they could try to sell me their MLM. I’m doing somewhat better now & every day is a hope that I’ll be fine but I have a medical team that keeps a close eye on all of this.

I’m so glad to find a community of women who are calling out MLMs. When I was trying out MLMs there were a lot of women there, and when we went to those big unpaid MLM pep rallies, they’d always wheel out some sexy, shouting at you lady who was talking about her magnificent helicopter ride filled life (that we could have too if we work hard enough😂) while we are all squished in a hotel conference room where our promised ‘meal’ is a cup of yogurt. I’m anti MLM due to past experience with Monavie/TEAM (I guess two MLMs bundled together but didn’t realise it at the time. I also had major MLM hunbots use slick words to get me to “support” them. Long story short, I ended up in therapy learning how to set boundaries and become assertive. Once my brain fog cleared, I realise now people were only in my life to take advantage of me, so down the rabbit hole I went into the anti MLM and anti scam content.

I could go on for a year about Optavia. At least four of my friends are coaches. So, I tried it-TWICE. 😂 These so called “health coaches” (who have NO health training) don’t tell people the truth when they con them into the program. Firstly, it’s almost all soy protein isolate that you’re eating five times a day. That’s a lot of estrogen (and constipation 😮), and they don’t tell breast cancer survivors (most of whom can’t have estrogen) that they’ll be living on estrogen producing soy products all day every day. As a breast cancer survivor, I had to send it all back. Next time I was told to buy only non-soy products. There aren’t many…and they’re nasty…and they don’t fill you up for half an hour even. I quit four hours in on my first day. Do people lose weight on Optavia? Sure. People lose weight in concentration camps too, because they’re starving! But you won’t keep it off. And you don’t get 1200 calories a day. You get 800-1000.
