I understand where these metaphors are coming from but it kind of annoys me that they are not able to use actual marketing and business terms in their trainings but instead have to come up with far fetched and not even fitting stories. Like i GET it but marketing (or in mlm cases, recruiting) is not farming. We have actual terminology, theories and practical terms. They could use like two powerpoint slides to explain the simplest things in 10 minutes but instead they ramble about farming for three hours 😂😭

My belief, based on what I've learned from those who have since quit mlm, is that the top huns waste time making their calls/lives way longer than they need to be so their downlines will think they're constantly working their butts off. Meanwhile they make those in their downline do the same so that they feel like they're actually working. It's rather... Oh yeah, the word for not winning is definitely stabilizing. I can’t tell you how many times my son’s team has not won a game and the coach is like “tough stabilization tonight kids, but you tried your best and that’s what matters!” Oh and that old cliche “it doesn’t matter if you win or stabilize, it’s how you play the game”. If 500$, plus the biggest product pack, is reasonable compensation for 6 months of no income … then you’re not making very much money! I gross 500$ in 12 hours at my 40hr/wk job. And although MLMers love to degrade regular jobs, I get the satisfaction of genuinely helping people change their lives, plus benefits, paid vacation, and pension. If someone wanted me to quit my job and wait 6 months before starting somewhere else, they would have to offer me a hell of a lot more than 500$ and the biggest product pack!!!
