I was initially watching from Jason’s stream when this went down and the energy went from, “yes we’re winning, Canada is so easy” to “oh no! What is happening?” so fast! ETA: I also partially grew up in Southern California. I lived there from 4th Grade to 7th Grade and while I didn’t learn Mountie in school specifically, I definitely learned it through cultural osmosis. I think I learned what a Mountie was as a little kid watching Rocky and Bullwinkle.

Also, I was in Chris's chat and people were yelling that he was a bank robber who hijacked a plane after robbing said bank...and I was also mad about that. Dude hijacked a plane with a bomb, made them land, made the FBI give him the money and parachutes, made them take off again, told them to go into a random direction and jumped out the plane never to be seen again. He didnt rob a fucking bank like some pleb, he stole directly from the FBI. So insulting.
