Kia is so underrated in SA... being a VW fanboy for years but I feel as though Kia should be the next step up from my VW Tiguan...but will still keep my 2006 VW Mk1 1.4 as our knockabout for the love of VW🥺

I think it does make sense to pay 1/2 a million for a compact SUV these days when you look at the hatchback market, Golf 1.4 Comfortline DSG Auto cost around R480K. When you move to the R Line package then you'll need to exceed the R500k mark , when considering the optional extras which makes it a Golf.... Like sport leather seats, active info display, upgraded infotainment, panoramic sun roof , keyless access etc. Not only the Golf, think about things like the Mazda 3, the entry level Audi A3 with cloth seats and so on. Just can't wait to see the 2021 Golf 8 and the Audi A3 in person, not to mention their price tags.

Test drove the Seltos and have to agree it's a great car.....having some shopping paralysis choosing between the Kia Seltos CRDi and the Corolla Cross 1.8XR CVT.......anyone care to share an opinion?

The toyota will no doubt last longer... but the Kia will probably have better fuel economy and more fancy tech. The toyota will probably have better resale value too.

I find it difficult to quantify the space in these compact SUV's. Mazda CX-3 for example is tiny! I could not get a comfy driving position in it yet I can in my Fiancees Picanto. Inside, is this like a Polo or Golf?

Without a doubt the diesel... It's punchy, you don't even feel steep inclines or hills... And the best is the consumption, between 4 - 4.3 liters per 100km....

Why does it have a lift kit? I struggle to see how imitating a giraffe helps anything. Is it so we can laugh at little kids struggling to get in?
