i drive a hyundai getz with exactly the same engine. 1.5 crdi. exactly the same. fuel consumption around 5.5km/100km or even less. lots of power. very very very very reliable. am on 400000km since brand new and only changed the clutch at 200000km. the engine is properly build, it will most certainly never give you problems, thats if you considering it

German build quality? They are bottom of the log globally. Kia and Hyundai are top or near top of the surveys. These journos need to wake up. In some markets BMW doesn't even take part because they are aware of the poor quality of their cars. Japanese and Korean cars are far better cars when we talk quality.
