the turkey pot would make a nice herb garden or fairy garden planter. dollar general sells a lot of fairy garden accessories. small enough for a back porch. the fireplace puffer is a "bellows"

When you have time, you should always look at silver pieces to see if any are STERLING. Those can be sold without any further work.

My favorite item is the little kangaroo charm. I had a little dog for almost 12 years named Roo. One of the ladies that I worked with started calling me Mama Kanga w/my Baby Roo. She was killed in an accident shortly after that. Roo was so smart & such a good boy! 😇 So kangaroos w/ their joeys always bring back fond memories. 💝

I've seen on Pinterest people are painting their silver plated trays with white chalk paint and distressing them back and then hanging on the wall in a cluster...gorgeous and shabby chic!! Just an idea for you. Love you channels!!! ~Rosa~xoxo

I went to my towns bins for the first time on Monday. I wish we had shelves like your location but I found some awesome finds. Also, there was a huge group of young people waiting off on the side for bins to be replaced, felt uncomfortable with them just watching everyone else dig through stuff.

I would have been happy if you would have purchased the little set of the three ki you picked up and layed back down they were too cute.. Kittys is my collection I really wished you would consider picking them up sometimes . You would never be stuck with it in your inventory because kitty items fly off the shelves fast old and new .. Those look like Chinese made modern production dinnerware. Chinese factories can make ANYTHING and make it look new or old. The weight of dishes does not have as much to with age as it does th do with what they are. Porcelain is thinner and lighter weight than basic cheap ceramics or stoneware dishes.

I like to bring sets back together. And I recently just got a turkey pot like that too but mine is really deep to fry turkey and I thought about putting plants in it as well! Lol Thrifting is the best. I was so sad sad when thrift shops shut down for Covid. I had to turn to OfferUp. Ha

Well, slap my butt and call me a Grandmaw! I could not have walked away from that silverplate or silver? serving pieces. I love it! I never can turn a piece down. And yes, I polish mine so it doesnt look nasty. So many wonderful ways to use it. In a room with no architectural interest, you can add it to the walls as art and it is stunning.

I read that you should not wear used shoes not good for your feet because someone has broken them in and shoes have been molded to their feet I only buy new shoes with tags or I buy shoes on zappos Children need to wear new shoes because their feet are still growing. I did buy secondhand tennis shoes to walk in and I developed Achilles tendonitis

I gave up buying new shoes 30 years ago because the ones I could afford always hurt my feet. Some of the best shoes I ever had were used because I could afford thrifted expensive and barely used. Until my children were older, I always bought Stride Rites because my feet always hurt as a child (and besides, I wasn't thrifting 45 years ago....) .
