Completely understandable. It's the same thing when actors get into costumes, it's almost like it does the work for them, changing their mental perception, helping them to first believe themselves. But it's more difficult to play pretend when there are less things around you that tie you into something being logical. Obviously, money, convenience, among other factors go into the choices to do things differently. If anything, actors are getting closer to becoming obsolete with the ever-improving artificial intelligence, being able create people, their voices, movements...etc... without needing to pay actors, and so forth. The landscape is ever changing. Unfortunately improvements in technology and globalism, can put plenty of people out of jobs. This design may help the remnant rich at that the top, but overall the people as the majority tend to suffer as a result. Stifling people doesn't create a better society, as people are led to doing things out of desperation, and corruption increases. With the lack of prosperity being spread with others, more people are struggling just to get by, while other people have more than what they will ever need.

Green screen must be so shit for an actor. And you can tell as an audience that it isn't helping the acting. None of the recent Marvel films has any memorable, outstanding performance. And how could it?
