Personally, I was skeptical at first too. But then i ordered a bunch of stuff like tote bags and socks that turned out to be of a decent quality. As for the data stealing and malware installation scandal - it was totally same with a similar scandal regarding tiktok. Americans just can’t stand Chinese-based apps… all the research about malware was based on a totally different app made by this company (its only for China). They connected these two cases probably because Temu became a rival to Amazon, selling totally same stuff for quarter of the price. I also got this hair styler from the video for free for inviting 9 friends to register with my link (also got a vacuum cleaner and a few cute organizers). Now I’m waiting for its delivery, watching all these reviews. I hope it’s gonna be the same product and good quality.
