I really like that Julius knew the attack was coming. He just decided to take it to save the kingdom. Licht said it right, his only "weakness" is that he IS the wizard king. That scene made Julies one of my favorite characters in this show.

Nahh, even if the animation is bad. Anime will always be superior to manga. Until unless the studio decides to skip over things or change the story. I mean you can never feel the tention and sence of urgecy while reading manga. Even while reading a fight scean in manga I need to sometimes stop and concentrate on panel just to understand who actually hit who. I mean all is in black and white so its actually hard to understand what's going on. Mostly on fight sceans though. Anime has good voice acting, good soundtrack, good bgm, good visual effects and lighting and most importantly even if animation is bad you can atleast understand what's going on without pausing. Anime also adds Tons of anime only stuff that fills the gap that manga leaves. You can compare manga vs anime. I think watching anime is absolutely superior to reading manga. I mean you started manga which is pictures just bcoz animation was not smooth? Why would you leave colorful animation and go to black and white slideshow. I am not saying that black clover manga is bad. Don't get me wrong. I am right now reading black clover manga bcoz I cought up with anime. I am saying that anime is superior in general and more entertaining in almost every way.

Early on, the show made it seem obvious that Vangeance was sus for anyone with half a brain, then the creator was like I know y'all(viewers) think he sus, so does Yami and even Vangeance suspects that y'all think I'm sus (face reveal episode), so let's have vengeance address it with Yami suspecting it, so the suspicion will somewhat die down or at least get the viewers confused as to why I (creator) would put this scene (face reveal episode) in here, as to say "Yeah, I know y'all suspect him, but should you?"
