I remember her and her love story because I was in high school at that time. I remember the late actress Gloria Sevilla was quoted saying "Bakit ka umiiyak?! Love team is not real, its for the show." My impression at that time late 70s was Ms Navarro hoped too much in her love team with then Mr heart throb Mat Ranillo de 3rd. I guess Leah ended up hurting her heart. She left the Philippines for Canada when she was so popular and was on TOP of her singing career. SAYANG. I was a fan of the late singer Mr Rico J. But I love Leah's original song titled "Buhay ng buhay ko". She sang this song at the top of her lungs. Some critical teens at that time (like my friends) did not like it but in my opinion that's how you sing that song ipagsigawan mo kung mahal mo ang isang tao. hehehe

What I know is naging sila ni Matt. Ang ganda naman ni Leah during her heydays kaya bagay sila. There was a rumor na ayaw ata ni Ms. Gloria Sevilla kay Leah. Matt Ranillo was the golden boy of showbiz during that time, parang Alden Richards. On the other side, Leah naman was so popular because her songs specially "Ang Pag-ibig kong Ito" was such a big hit.
