@@monsiyt3808 Well to be fair, I think the 2022 line is a HUGE improvement over Thomas Wood. But I didn’t expect so much detail like the different sized wheels as well as the bigger engines like Gordon having more than 8 driving wheels.

I vividly remember seeing this catalog and looking at the sets and prompts that were built to promote the items trying to be sold. It made me want to purchase Thomas wooden railway products old and new in order to make those same sets and prompts to create my own you tube channel. Sadly, that never happened.

My main gripe with this catalogue is how deceptive it is but HIT Entertainment era Thomas the Tank Engine has always been deceptive. Other than that it’s welcoming to see effort in set dressing that we used to know from yearbooks in the Roy Wilson and Gullane era of learning curve. I just can’t help being a reflective historian and long for the days when executives of the franchise wanted to be faithful to Awdry

I remember seeing a single Dustin Comes In First set at a store a few years ago for $120, and I regret not purchasing it, because today that set is very costly on EBay. I’m a O Scale modeler, but I have a few Thomas models for nostalgia from the 80’s and 90’s.

Hey thomaswoodenrailway! What are your thoughts of someone like myself writing a screenplay script for a live action adaptation movie of Thomas the tank engine? I know we haven’t gotten one since the magic railroad In 2000 but however, today in 2024. I have decided to make a 62 page script inspired by the four classic railway series books along with a new human story to be the side plot but these human characters are Sir TopHam Hatt’s family as in lady Jane Hatt and her 2 children Stephen and Bridgett who are moving from the the United Kingdom to the island after getting bankrupted or something. The movie is like a live action adaptation of 2015’s The Adventure Begins which was inspired by The Railway Series we all know and love. What are your thoughts on it??
