Sizzlin' Summer Sketches Week 2

thank you thank you for posting and sharing your technique to getting the multiple colors via circle punch-outs behind the Rainbow Ripple arcs so looks like the layout sample on the sketch. I struggled using the current 1 3/4" circles as they were slightly too big and the way they covered the smaller circles leaving gaps. Wish they had better how-to on this sizzlin' sketch. I was measuring, placing, etc - just not liking how mine was looking compared to the image on pdf and blog picture. and Yes! that Cheerful is perfect alternative to the This LIfe collection. Still have my larger Circle Punch thank goodness. Our home is on the east side of a hill and when there is rain late afternoon, we always know to look to the eastern sky for rainbow or double rainbow as the rain clouds keep moving on and sun comes out. Why I wanted to make this layout - have a collection of rainbows from past few years that on a layout would showcase the frequency, etc of that promised sign. There is a highway nearby that is East/West and the lucky commuters heading home (East) get to see the rainbows also - but not obstructed by trees like the edges of them like from my yard. @kellkatz I am so sorry that I am just responding now. I am still new to posting videos and was having trouble with the comments section. Some of my videos are allowing them and some are not. Just trying to figure it all out 😊 Thank you! I am so glad that you found my video helpful. I was excited when I figured it out myself so I wanted to share. That is what is so fun about the You Tube community. We can all learn something from each other 🥰 How lucky for you to have such a perfect eastern view of so many rainbows. I am blessed to have a big window to the east where I see rainbows frequently as well. What a perfect use for this layout!
