You do have the cafe car , sandwiches and snacks. Very much lower quality food.

No more dining car on the City Of New Orleans Amtrak. I call BS on this decision.

Sad. Train travel in the U.S. used to be a treat. It is still a treat in Alaska and parts of Canada. The experience of fine leisurely dining while the scenery passed by was something you could not achieve by plan or vehicle.

@@h111551 two years ago this was the case for this train, now we are eating sandwiches and chips.
