July 4th beach cleanup

The Dirtiest Beach Day of the Year. That’s what the Surfrider Foundation calls July 5.
Cleanup efforts began along the Grand Strand Friday morning after a busy July 4th holiday.
Volunteers with the Surfrider Foundation gathered at 3rd Avenue North in Surfside Beach to pick up trash and firework debris left along our sandy shores.
