That’s not what happened at all. Y’all believe anything the media says without research. Yes he dyed his hair, the media was harassing him WHILE TRYING TO WORK. He still had to live his life and go to work he didn’t want to be recognized so often. If he wanted to flee he would have when he actually traveled to Mexico for work (a month before his arrest) but he didn’t, he came right back into the USA. He was at a golf course in San Diego when he was arrested. That’s not trying to flee. Now I’m not saying he is innocent because I don’t know but the media ruined any chance he had at a fair trial

And, of course both Laci and Connor's bodies turned up in the San Francisco Bay, where he claimed he was fishing the night she "disappeared," he made five cement anchors (rather than buy some, because he wanted to make sure they were heavy enough to weigh down their bodies), his mistress came forward confirming their affair two weeks after he murdered Laci and their unborn child, his blood and Laci's hair were found in his car and boat, respectively, and he didn't seem to give a damn about what was going on. Pure psychopath.

I'm not going to go back into these comments/arguments as did in the past. As far as what Scott's parents had to say isn't even worth my time. The mother of Scott died yrs ago a little while after Scott was found guilty of murdering his pregnant wife Laci. As far as his Dad IMO was and probably still is as pathetic as his son was. Always coddled his son never showed any remorse for his daughter in law Laci. Was just always focused on his poor son. IMO neither Lee nor Jackie ever showed any concern for Laci or their unborn grandson missing. It was always about Scott. I'll leave it at that.

One night Scott took this team mate out for a night of drinking. When the father of this teammate saw his son the next day he was furious because his son was nursing a bad hangover and he needed to play golf that day. This father went to the university sports officials and actually had Scott kicked out of the university, not just the golf team. Scott’s dream of becoming a golf pro went right down the drain after one night.

Anyhow , I sense there was a little more history of some bad behaviour and perhaps that was the last straw to break the camels back ? I'm not sure if I should feel sorry for Scott's mom however after hearing it I feel a little sorry she had 3 relationships where she claims when she got pregnant (accidentally)the fathers abandoned her because they weren't getting it easy anymore so she just put the 2/3 of the kids up for adoption then Lee peterson comes in promising to marry her and adopt the third child only if she will be okay with him cheating on her constantly she's so beaten down she said okay then they naturally have Scott and when this whole problem (laci missing) comes to light he (Lee Peterson) naturally says sometimes men stray from their marriage it's no big deal look at my wife she's willing to put up with it Laci should have as well.

I watched this interview to refresh my memory since I was only like 10 years old when this interview came out 😅 anyway, as a parent myself it is hard to disown your child but it doesn’t mean that they should be wearing rose colored glasses, clearly their son had some skeletons in the closet and if you are in tune with your intuition you would take a note of some red flags. I find it almost impossible that there wasn’t a single red flag. They simply paid no mind. Regardless the truth will always come out whether their family likes it or not. I think they care more about their family’s image then getting some sort of therapy in place for their son
