Thanks for sharing your crafting projects!! I actually hand pieced my first quilt when I was 15 years old. I love quilts and cross stitch projects. I just turned 53 earlier this month and I look to you as being a role model for my next stage of life. I just turned 75 in June. I still work one day a week for 12 hours, and an hour commute each way. I do have back problems and 3 cardiac stents,😧 but I do treadmill for 30 minutes twice a week, . I do miss sometimes someone in my life , it's been years alone, but life doesn't always work out the way you want. Love watching you. I am enjoying great skin care, and retin A, but no procedures. You are so relaxing to watch. I don't feel so alone with you utube ladies. Love the scarf buttons, and I've tried knitting, but just can't seem to do it right. I paint, sew, make jewelry, so I do a lot of crafting. Great video once again. ❤️

Loved your video so so much! I am just like you, I love knitting, crocheting is my ultimate love, I quilt, I see and many other crafts and loved them. Also I love my Clarisonic, my Dollar Tree rounds, you can’t beat them. I have every thing you mentioned today except for the Argan Oil and I am on a saving mission to get that too. I just turned 72 and feel the same as you. I feel like I am still young in my mind but my body doesn’t want to let me fell young but I have excepted it and do what I can do. I have learned to embrace life and do more of what I enjoy and to heck with the rest, but I think as we get older Patti we have been through so much, seen so much, learned so much, made mistakes and look back and Thank God we have always been Kind and Loving because in the end that is all that matters. I always say to my children, my grandchildren and friends, leave Love, Kindness and a lot of good Memories no matter what you do because in the end that is all that matters! You just look beautiful! You take such good care of yourself. I wanted to tell you my sister knitted for probably 45 years I have afgahans, sweater, vest. I have the FIRST mohair sweater she EVER MADE. Priceless ...and the first vest she EVER MADE me. I wore 1 Afghan out but still keep it b/c she made it for me. She passed away going on 2 years ago now. She, her oldest daughter, her friend and I got to go on a Cruise. So VERY VERY glad!! Wish she could have had a knitting group like this one onboard. If this is what 76 feels like and looks like, I am hopeful for the future! Thank you for being there for those of us who are older. I decided long ago to age gracefully, ie. good skincare - yes, surgery - no. I took up yoga 8 years ago, it’s been the best thing for my mental and physical health, better than anything in a bottle or jar. I l have been quilting for many years, I belong to a group that makes crib and twin blankets for charity. Some us us quilt, some knit, some crochet. Our blankets are beautiful and highly sought after. It’s a fun group and a wonderful way to give back, good for the soul. I look forward to your videos and your reminders to us to be kind.

I've watched you from the beginning and you've always inspired me to be a better. Person. Treat myself better, others better, take care of my health better. Just everything positive. I turned 70 in June and look and feel better than I did 10 years ago. I really don't feel much older in my mind. I try to stay relevant in today's world and don't lock myself into some of the old fashioned ideas I was brought up with. I've found I've had to change as the world changes. Not always easy but necessary. I think it was you who put up the quote "Live your life not your age" and that really hit me. Exactly who defines how we "should" feel at any age? I still am fanatical about my skincare, makeup and fashion and like you, no Botox or fillers or surgery. Not that it isn't ok if that's what suits you but right now I'm enjoying my money on travel, my grandkids and just living comfortably. My mom lives with us and just turned 90 in June and still walks the treadmill, does our laundry and loves to garden! I think I don't feel very old because Shes such a good example of staying active and aging gracefully. Again Happy Birthday and Thanks for keeping it real!! I'm looking forward to your vlog. Hi, I have just found you, and I am so pleased. You are so beautiful and you have such a lovely voice. I too am 76 but not as happy and relaxed as you. My husband has Alzheimer’s and cancer and I am just hanging on in there trying to do my best but it is so difficult. Any day now I know he will have to go into care and that is heartbreaking. Also I am not well. Sorry to write such misery but once I get him to bed - and that can take ages I use the late evenings to relax and just have time for myself. I can watch movies, blogs and or read till just before dawn. I catch up with a couple of hours sleep mid afternoon. I don’t believe in fillers or plastic surgery.. I had a friend once who had a birthmark on her face but she was so lovely that after a few weeks I never noticed it and would not have been able to say where it was on her sweet face. Now I have found you I will subscribe and enjoy listening to you. Just loved the interlude of your knitting group friends. Can’t wait to look up earlier blogs and upcoming ones. I am glad you are being real. Women of all ages are beautiful not just the young for they to will be old one day. I really look for channels of older people. I am so tired of zone cleaning, shopping hauls of home decorating, speedy meals and loads and loads of beauty products and percentages off for ordering a product. etc. but I pick and choose from them. Content is important to me. I love some but let it be a meaning behind it and not just throw a video out there. Keep doing KZbin as long as you like and I do enjoy the beauty of aging.

Happy 76th! I turned 72 yesterday, the 25th. Not far behind you. I knit socks two at a time toe up and the heel is the Fleegle heel which is so easy and fits so well. My son has some mobility issue and only like the socks I knit for him so I always have a pair on the needles. Look you Fleegle heel on KZbin. You will love that heel. Cheers!

First, could you please post the pattern you used for your socks. Second, your quilts are gorgeous. I ams a novice knitter and would love to knit socks, As far as quilts, I follow the PRAIRIEPIPER on Ravelry and she is an excellent quilter AND knitter. Lastly, I wish you the loveliest of birthdays! You were gorgeous back then when I first started to watch you and you are just as gorgeous now. Patti, I've learned so much from you. I see that you are Patti with an "i" too, there doesn't seem to be many of us and my name has been misspelled all my life. I just happened to see one of your videos on youtube and have watched several more. It is refreshing to watch someone embrace their age and tell things as you see them, good or bad and just be yourself. I will be looking forward to your next video, in the meantime, I'm going to binge watch from the beginning. I am 78 and find it impossible to realize how close I am to 80. I saw something that I find very true, "age is an issue of mind over matter, if you don't mind, it doesn't matter".

The only cleanser I use to take all of my makeup off, including my eye makeup is Purity Made Simple. It just works for us.
