Hi lovely- I had the same issue with the Lancomé foundation... so on your recommendation I bought the Hourglass... I don't find it as glow as you think... I only use it lightly- Summer= heat, humid, sweat- so I use face products differently... am waiting rather impatiently for my gorgeous Pat McGrath palette... loved the Andrew applies your Makeup video!! 💜💜💜

Oh I’m excited for you to try the Pat McGrath palette!!!! It is just 😍😍 stunning! On me the hourglass got quite glowy by the end of the day. I feel like lately I have been getting oily in the T zone😱😱which is so unlike me..

I had to purchase that Givenchy LE lip after you hauled and reviewed it ,) Such a beautiful shade, I wish I would of purchased the original shade in the NARS cream bronzer, I purchased light and currently tanning so it’s to light for me like all my foundations so trying to seek on Merc, already sold 5 so sad as they were so spendy !!

7.5 is more neutral and I am enjoying it! I can't buy the lancome because it has 4 ingredients I'm allergic to.

Hi Tania! You and I are very similar in skin tone so I was curious if you got a different shade of the hourglass foundation? I am struggling trying to decide on a shade! If you haven’t, you may want to check out 7.5. It seems more neutral than 6.5. 💗😘😘

I went into Ulta and swatched every shade from 5.5 - 8.5 and they all seemed a little too warm or too peachy, just not quite right! But it’s a beautiful foundation 😊

I can’t believe August is here already! Summer is flying by, I’m not ready for snow 😂 this month I went heavy with Laura Mercier and enjoying the MUFE HD skin when I want a full foundation and the Essence lash princess mascara. I love a good perfume, some of my summer staples are Parfums de Marly Meliora, Goldfield & Banks Sunset Hour, Nishane Hacivat and Initio Musk Therapy. I’m also really into mens and picked up Parfums de Marly Haltane and L’Artisan Parfumeur Bois des Sables, so good!

The 6.5 was more of a yellow peach while the 7.5 which was a rosy peach. The 6.5 worked better for me because I lean more on the golden side of neutral than pink. Would love to know your thoughts if it is available to swatch in store as well as the Huda concealer, if you could only get one shade?

So I didn’t get a chance to swatch the hourglass foundation. But for the huda concealer I think the 3.5 shade looked good, but i only swatched it, didn’t put it on!

Hm.. you do not need both of them!! They each do different things. For a more multi-use product I would choose the stick contour!

Well you definitely have some products I’m wanting. I’m got to buy the Lancôme foundation when I can go swatch it and I also want to check out the Hourglass but their colors are so difficult. The PM pallet…yes I wish the pinky color was a beautiful brown but not so deep. The RMS blushes. So pretty. Every time I try to get more colors they are sold out. I have pomegranate I think it’s called. Go lightly and it’s pretty. I need the Rose and the Mai Tai too. Oh! The Chanel bronzer is my go to. I’m going to check out the Nars bronzer when I go shopping soon. Thanks for your thoughts. 💖💄👄

I've ordered a couple of the Radien blushers and three eye creams (I couldn't decide), I can't wait to try them 😊 Ooo, I do like a more masculine fragrance. I used to wear Joop back in the day. I'm passing on both the Lancome and the HG foundations. As products cannot be returned in the UK, I don't want to waste my money on products I'm never going use, also I have lots (too many) foundations. That kind of sucks you can’t return a product that doesn’t work for you.. I think that reduces your buys quite a bit!! Also the colors are hard to match in both foundations!!

The cosmetic industry also uses fragrance in cosmetics in order to neutralize any unpleasant odors that may be in the chemicals that they use. Many times certain brands are known for their "signature" scents.

Nice July review. I went for the Hourglass foundation even though I have to try different shades. (It’s something off with the shades but I went to Sephora and try them out). It’s a beautiful foundation with a little bit of glow, The Lancome foundation has alcohol (I think that’s part of the smell). Thank you!

Were you able to find a good shade match with the Hourglass?? Yeah, the Lancome does have alcohol and fragrance in it!!

I did find a close match shade. I had to go up one shade up to find the correct undertone that wouldn’t show as yellow (Weird but it worked). So I would recommend to go for the description of the shade and definitely try in the store before buying. I’m happy with the shade. One thing they recommended at the store is to use this foundation w/ their primer (hourglass vanish primer). They gave me a sample and wow! What a difference! The foundation looks astonishing and wears much better throughout the day. I didn’t buy their primer (I’m planing to buy it later tough - it’s excellent) but I tried the foundation with my YSL Touché Eclat Blur Primer and same results - beautiful look and finish! You should try it with their primer. Thank you much and keep up the good videos! Love to watch them!

Lancome has such confusing colour shades - espec when you watch US KZbinrs & the Aus numbers are different. I also find the undertone slightly odd with Lancome, but figured the 23 beige aurora works best for me.
