This new foundation has such a beautiful finish but it is VERY fragrant. The smell doesn’t bother me but it is pretty strong. I grabbed a sample last time I was at Sephora and prefer this foundation on me more than the new Hourglass foundation. Thanks for the review and hopefully their PR does better with your shade matching in the future 💜

Great review! Spot on. When you said it's strong fragrant that remind me of their dual foundation, which I loved, but scent was just too much. I get migraines very easily with scents. AND I totally agree with you on Lancomes color selections - I have a difficult olive undertone, PS your skin looks great.

I personally love this foundation. I have version dry skin but I agree I the colors. It was hard for me to find the right shade and I’m a person of medium warm complexion

Thanks for speaking on foundation shades. I get annoyed that beauty content creators are cruelty free but will support a brand that isn’t inclusive to skin shades. Being cruelty free is great but can we also focus on inclusivity of all people.

Lancome has been my go to make up for years. Lancome's original Teint Idol Ultra Wear foundation has 42 shades..that's a big difference. I'm 57, very oily, with sensitive skin. The Lancome consultant at the store suggested I stick with the original. I hope the company does right by you!

I completely agree. I recently had the weirdest customer service experience with them recently. Every time I would respond to an email it got sent to a different person so they had no idea what I was talking about. It feels like they’re such a big brand now and there’s too many cooks in the kitchen I really like their makeup but I agree the personal touch is gone

Maybe both shades could work if you add in a yellow mixer? I understand you wouldn't want to purchase a yellow mixer to make a pr sent foundation work, but maybe you own one already? I am going to skip this one just because of the heavy fragrance alone. After seven hours of wear, to me the star of the show was the Danessa Myricks balm. You could really tell the difference between the two sides. Impressive!

I literally just finished an entire bottle of Dior Natural Nude foundation. It's beautiful and sits/wears so well! It's like a happy medium between their matte and glowy versions. My only issue is I've only finding it on the Dior website - not in stores anywhere 😭

Hey so u did u use the Danessa Myricks in two different shades? One as a primer and one as a bronzer?? Or was the second one a Danessa Myrick product with a different name?? U know what, she has some AMAZING PRODUCTS overall.....I don't know that I have tried any products from her that were BAD!

yes, 2 different shades. the clear one as a primer and shade 8 for warmth. I currently use 6 or 7 all over the face if I'm wearing it alone. Her products are BOMB!! So so good

Yes I love using the balm as an all over foundation on days I wanna do a no makeup makeup look or I just don’t have a lot of time to get ready. Then I’ll use the new makeup by Mario product to bronze. Those 2 products are a match made in heaven

The finish did look pretty but they should have sent you the correct shades especially since you are reviewing their products and giving them advertising. Hopefully they correct their mistake. Looks like something I would definitely try

I was wondering why it wasn’t recommended for sensitive skin, then you mentioned the fragrance. Case closed. Totally agree with you on the limited shade as there are DRUGSTORE foundations with 30 shades so for Lancôme to be so limited, definitely makes me feel like they dgaf. 🤷🏽‍♀️ so if the brand doesn’t care about inclusivity why should I care about the brand? It would hurt my feelings too. Luckily you're able to make almost anything work cause your a professional someone like us spending that money wouldn't be able to. As many businesses they own they are the ONE that can make 100 shades for that price lol
