Hey guys! Today I am sharing with you all the things I've been loving this month! I tested a lot of new makeup this month, including a handful of eyeshadow palettes, and these are the things that really stood out! I even have a few non-makeup things to share! *NOTE ON MASCARA: Someone mentioned that the mascara flaked off when swimming. I have not personally worn it swimming yet, but I asked my sister (who wore it to Hawaii back in November) and she said she did not have trouble with it in the water. But I would imagine if you rub your eyes while swimming it could come off. I'll be sure to test it out the next time I go to the pool and keep you posted!

I saw a great tip on mask on Risa Does Makeup. She uses a setting spray on the inside of the mask and there was nothing on the inside. Risa wears a lot of makeup so it was a good test.

I have oily skin and love the Revlon Candid foundation. It looks so natural but has the coverage I need. Thanks for the recommendation on the Tony Moly mascara. It's my new favorite. Can we please get a 7 looks one palette video with the elf palette? Pretty please? 😁

I have been LOVING my Pat McGrath Divine Rose pallete!!! It was a total splurge, but these shadows are AMAZING. They practically blend themselves! Lol I know you ca'nt bring yourself to buy a pallete over $100 (and I won't again in the near future for simply that reason) but it's so worth it!!

I loooove thrive mascara. Best mascara I have ever tried. Downside is the high price tag. However, Thrive seems to be an excellent brand that gives back to the community, specifically women in need, so paying a higher price actually helps real people and that makes me feel good.

That elf retro paradise palette would be such a fun one to see in a 7 looks video! I know they’re a ton of work and we’re all asking.l for the Artemis palette as well, but it would be so much fun to see some drugstore palettes in this video series!

I also grabbed that revlon highlighter and as you can see from my pic I am paper pale and daaaaang! Perfection. Everyone loves the essence be my highlight and that one is way too dark for me so I finally found something that gives me an actual highlight without being a weird icy blueish look. So pretty!

I loooove the thrive mascara. I go boating multiple times a week and wear this mascara. It definitely comes off in water!!! BUT, it is so easy to remove, that you just take it off and no raccoon eyes! So honestly it’s worth it!

My July favorites have been all my cream products, I went on a cream products kick and now I can't get enough. All creams except my eyeshadows and I'm loving it. 😍😍😍😍 I've had more luck with the Yankee Candles and Village Candles, my local TJMAXX carries them, than with the Bath and Body Works candles. I would go through them so fast and they're expensive. The Village Candles are the best, in my opinion.

The wax melt scents that I love so far are: Lavender Lemonade and Cedar & Lavender. I can't find White Birch Leaves anymore but I loved that one too.

I have oily skin, and I enjoy the Revlon Candid Foundation. I have to use amattifying primer, and I do powder. It hold up for a good 5 hours on my until I have to do some maintenance.

My favorite dupe for the IT Cosmetics CC cream is the NYX Bare With Me tinted skin veil. I love the formula, the price is great, and it plays nicely with my other makeup :) The Revlon candid concealer is still my favorite for under-eyes though.

Hi Mandy, I’ve been having a somewhat normal summer. We are part owners in a private ski lake. We can’t have as many people out there but we’ve still been able to enjoy some summer activities. I really do miss my family though. I’ll see part of my family next weekend provided we’re all in good health. 💚💜💚 I’ve picked up many elf products during July. I bought 4 of the bite sized eyeshadow palettes and 4 of the bite sized face duos. Loving the brand so far. This is my first experience with elf. I have the Thrive mascara. I really like it. We have a pool, and if I’m in the pool for a long period of time, I do notice some flaking when I get out. For a short dip, it doesn’t do this.

Squalane is a humectant and emollient; it’s also natural to the skin vs other oils. I mix one drop with my night cream during winter and my face feels so dang baby butt-like in the morning 😂 Oh! And if you like tubing mascara, No7 has one called Stay Perfect. It was my less expensive alternative to Blinc mascara.

I found a Yankee Candle in sandalwood vanilla at TJMaxx for $10. It smelled so good in the jar I couldn't believe it when it smelled even better while burning. I think it must be discontinued because I couldn't find it on the Yankee Candle website. I never go the Walmart but I'm willing to go for those wax melts. Thanks for the heads up!

Ugggh! I wish the Thrive mascara would work for me!! Maybe I got a bad bottle but it was super flaky on me 😔. Have you tried the Juvia’s place neutral pallet? There is a shimmer in there that is amazing! It sounds like the elf shimmer you were describing. The pallet is small and compact, I pair it with the new ND Bronze pallet and it is amazing. You should pick up the Juvia’s place neutral pallet, it is so pretty 🥰

Hi Mandy - a couple of comments 🙂 1. I really enjoy the BH & G candles at WM. Just got lavender lemonade and it's perfect for summer. Not to sweet or floral, just light and fresh. Also got Red Berry Oak and Blue Fern and Citrus (this one is a manly scent to me and I like those best).These candles come in a variety of container styles and sizes. This is my second time purchasing from them and I am very happy so far. 2. I think it's fruit flies that live 24 hourshoi have noticed that flies that ate getting to the end of their life fly lower and "at" you more often. U think regular flies are a couple of days. 3. I have found a ton of free workouts on KZbin with a variety of different kinds of workouts. I without 5 days a week and alternate between videos and running. So for now, I personally don't think you need to pay. There are tons of intensity levels and variety, but two that I go back to on repeat are Madfit and Emkfit. Madfit has everything. Emkfit is dance HIIT. Only two moves per song and 30 seconds on 10 off alternating between the moves. Totally doable for a non dancer like me. Did her Latin one the other day and had a blast working out. Both of these channels were suggestions from Jessica Braun. She also recommended Blogilates which are good, but hard. Her personality can just be a little over the top for my tastes. But if I need a good kick in the butt..... 4. I have been wondering about that Thrive mascara for so long. I may just need to bite the bullet. 5. Last but not least, I love the Ordinary Azelaic Acid! Totally helping with my rosacea. Keep up the great work. Love your videos and budget conscious mindset!

I'm a candle junkie! Bought bath and body works candles for years but became less impressed, as they seemed to burn unevenly. Now I buy DW Homes candles and absolutely love them. You can get them at TJ maxx and I've bought directly from their website too. Incredible smells! I also really love the Scentsy melt bars. More pricey than store bought but I prefer them. Love and been a beachbody member for years now! Getting ready to start the barre blend program. I enjoyed Jericho too!

Those DW Home candles are GREAT. I bought some last year as part of a gift basket and got some for myself. I've since gotten more at TJ Maxx after they reopened. They're really nicely scented.

At my local Walmart, there are $5 Great Value brand dupes of Bath and Body Works 3 wicks and they're awesome! The trick is, they're not in the candle aisle, they're on the grocery side in the laundry detergent aisle!

I have been using Boots No. 7 Stay Perfect mascara. It is also a tubing mascara that washes off easily with water. It is the only mascara I have found that will stay on my lashes, but I never hear anyone talk about it. I have not tried Thrive, but this may be a less expensive option.

I have super dry skin and was using the Loreal Freshwear and it started drying out my skin made me sad but I loved it enough that I used one full bottle of it and part of a second.

I just bought that Revlon highlighter today. Excited to try it. I don't use a lot of highlighter on my face. I'm old and I don't need to draw attention to lines and pores. I agree that the L'Oréal Infallible foundation is wonderful. I think it's the best drugstore foundation ever! I've really been into neutral eyeshadow palettes lately. Of course, I am drawn to the Biba palette which is WAY out of my price range. I might pick up this dupe though just to see if I do like the colors. Oh, and I'm really obsessing about the Scott Barnes Snatural palette. Waiting for a sale or a lottery win...

Mandy Davis has mentioned the Revlon Candid concealer in a few videos, and more recently in her July favourites. I haven’t used Revlon for many years so maybe worth checking out. The only issue...I hate trying to match base colours at the pharmacy or supermarket. ☺️ I just bought the Hourglass vanish concealer and so far I’m loving it. I want to try the new Hourglass mascara after seeing it on Jamie Paige’s channel because it’s a tubing formula. I used to love the Kevin Aucoin mascara for that reason. Why did I stop using that one? 🤔 I just wish more mascaras came in brown!! Not sure if you follow ttsandra on you tube. I love her makeup videos, but I think you would enjoy her skincare recommendations. 🥰

I have been enjoying the persona lipglosses. I got the pink one,coral, and hibiscus. I love them. They r so moisterizing and pretty. Also I have been enjoying the new fruit fetish lip balms. They smell so good and feel good on the lips.

Try Fitness Blender. Kelli and Daniel are the absolute best. I love that they believe fitness should be free/affordable for everyone. They have videos/programs that are the most thorough I have ever come across. I quickly replaced BeachBody with Fitness Blender. As for foundation transferring to my mask, I have just stopped wearing foundation and lip products when I leave the house.

I think baseball is a bit easier, as they are outdoors, have gloves on most of the time and the fans are very spread out. I doubt basketball will be happening this winter though! Too much of a contact sport! Tough time for our kids!😞

They say wash the Thrive Causemetics Mascara with warm water. Also the formula tends to clump with cool temperature like where the A/C is on, I saw a comment on a video where the person suggested rolling the tube in their hands to warm the formula. Hope this helps someone.
