What I love about only fools the most is how grounded it is. Every character even one of appearance are believable and are so realistic. The way Jumbo has a pop at del saying he always enjoyed embarrassing him. But offered him the chance of a life time later. Mirrors a lot of truth for me. In reality you can spend decades away from your close friends. But nothing changes when you see each other again. You will still argue but will also lay in the middle of the road to prevent traffic hitting them.

As I suspected....cut to pieces. Why bother showing episodes if you refuse to show them in their entirety? Furthermore, who 'decides' what is cut out and why? Do you not realise that the writer goes through several drafts of the script until it is ready for shooting and in that process, any padding or deadwood, is removed. Surely you realise you are harming your audience and their enjoyment of the show because plots are obviously affected amidst your butchery. In that 3 minute clip alone, you excised Jumbo's diatribe on the state of the country in his mind, which in turn gets Dels back up and leads to him wanting to embarass Jumbo by publically removing his wig. Get Britbox....? Bollocks! Get the UNCUT DVD and watch these programmes the way they were meant to be watched.
