I just did this style on my hair yesterday! I usually do my own hair, so the actually parting & twisting using the rubberband method didn’t take me that long. I used the same exact hair, it’s light weight and not tight at all, way better than tight & heavy box braids

I attempted to follow this tutorial but found the rubber band method difficult as a beginner. I ended up braiding at the root/twisting the hair in and kinda freestyled. I’ve never been great at doing my own hair, but it came out cute enough. Thanks for the inspo.
@khloe382 жыл бұрын
So you braided/plaited your own hair at the root, like an inch?, then twisted rest of way? Then twisted in the bought hair like the video? Im trying this this weekend and trying to see if i really need the rubber bands.

From what I can see, you're braiding your hair with the 3 strands and doing the twisted with 2 right? Please let me know and also how can you flatten your box? What I mean is you part and have the box, I know people use gel and a brush but when I tried box braids the 2nd time, one of my boxes in the front weren't as flat 😩
