I just did my 3rd hike in the Jumbo Valley last weekend and every time I'm there I get emotional over how it could have ended up radically different and disturbed by more unnecessary human development. If you ever get the chance to do some hiking in the area, definitely don't pass it up. It's one of the most incredible places on this planet. So beautiful.

I just came back from the movie screening in one of our local stores in Stuttgart and remain speechless. Besides/ through really impressing images and the incredible soundtrack the movie achieves its goal to form the opinion of the viewer without really being partial. Totally worth watching! If anyone knows where i can find the soundtrack, i'd be grateful!

I understand your reply, and for the most part agree with you, BUT, we as humans are supposed to be good stewards of the Land & everything on it. I am a Hunter for Good quality meat for my family, to harvest the wild population to keep it healthy, I camp for enjoyment of Nature as well as Hike & Ski, I however do NOT KILL more than I can eat, I DO NOT LEAVE Garbage at my camp site.And I do not tear up the wilderness with jeeps & ATV's or motorcycles.. If the public lands were managed RIGHT, they would last forever, but YOU are RIGHT, People have to do stupid things,for power, greed, or Blood Lust. That will take a collective society to control. The whole Rocky Mountain Syatem should be protected all the up from Mexico through Canada and Alaska. Next we better be doimg something about our Oceans or we wont have Oceans to worry about! The Oceans give us all life, and we need to quite corporate fishing.And get back to basics. Thanks for your reply~

I see a parallel between this amazing place and the whales, which right now are more profitable to watch than to kill. Canada is probably the only place on earth that still has vast wildernesses like Jumbo Valley. Soon people will pay more to see it than to ski it.

SACRED.... Means more than something which belongs to us. SACRED means something is essentially a part of what we are, and where we came from. We have the SACRED right to defend our own lives, defend our family, defend our health, defend our land, to experience the world. The world is not what we make it; it was here before us, and it created us. We have the SACRED right to preserve our world, and all that which gives us sustenance, for the children of the future. Myself and many others cannot afford to travel, ski, or support an economy led by sheep. By the time I can afford such luxury, I most certainly will not enjoy sharing space with my oppressors. French and other rich sheep love to ski, and build monuments to impress other sheep. But 80% of us aren't sheep, we are individuals, we have our own identity, and we need a place to escape the constant noise of sheep. Sheep on television, Sheeple magazine, Sheep life, house of Sheepament, Academic Institutes/Sheepversities, Sheex, Shope's, Shriests, Sheintists; so many acting like something they aren't. So many hold themselves on a pedestal and elevate their own importance. They see their wants, and views, somehow as the way things should be; they do not understand what real needs are. These sheep would ignore us, and manifest all of our problems, deny us the things we need; then try to sell us drugs in the place of pristine beautiful wilderness. FUCK YOUR SAUCE SHEEPLE! FUCK IT HARD!
