This is Sn00py, thanks for playing my map, I was hoping someone would stream it so that I could see what was faulty with it, I had a very similar experience that you had with my own playthrough, except I managed to get 2 cities, but I simply could not get up the ramp because of archers at the top. This map does highlight some important problems with Humankind. I am working on Cities in the Clouds V2 right now, which I think will circumvent many of the issues you faced; I hope you will give it a try in the future when I release it this week if I have time. Also, nice to see a fellow Kiwi was the first to stream it, too coincidental!

Shame you didn't go for the Poles. Cavalry can still be used for sieges. It's just that you need to get siege weapons to break the walls first.
