I have a one, different brand and I’ve used it several times. I’ve jump started trucks, charged iPhone and iPad while away from home. Just a great thing to keep in your Jeep/car for emergencies.

The "Boost" button is used when you have a flat dead battery (no even courtesy lights can turn on) then you press the Boost button and the green light on the connector blinks, then you can start the engine. I have one and works as intended. I even jumped started a diesel truck with it.

My jump pack is from a different manufacturer but functions the same. I finally wore the original one out and immediately replaced it with a newer model from the same company I purchased the first one from. It definitely will jump a car or truck a number of times, but is extremely handy around the house or traveling to charge cell phones, iPads, and that riding mower that always has a dead battery when I’m in a hurry to cut grass. If you just keep it to jump a car your wasting a lot of its potential.

That thing is pretty nice ! Just wish it’s life was longer than 5yrs and had a switch to not have to charge it every three months

Did you order the case separately? Mine arrived without a case. Great system though, but the case would be ideal.

There exists a competing product with feature for a completely dead battery (where nothing works). With the competing product, you turn on the "boost" mode and wait about a minute before trying to start the vehicle.
