Maybe in a video editor but how you can do it in animator is by changing opacity of the layer orrrr the opacity of the pen

What I've learned on flipaclip is that you have the slowly lower the opacity of the eraser tool, then keep doing it with the rest of the frames until it full dissappears.

for flipaclip u usually have to lower the opacity on the background color and draw over the drawing multiple times till its hidden

You could also have the subject on a separate layer than the rest of the drawing in flipaclil and have that layer slowly fade to 0% opacity, which I like bc it's easier for me. All of these are viable tho!
