Yeah man, this bayou is full of bends so I’m able to get to them. But you’re dead on. They sit in those bends waiting on you. It’s both beautiful and obnoxious lol

A buddy of mine hunts out of one of those. His trick is a milk cart and pvc. Zip ties pvc in corners. Puts branches in the pipe up in front of him. He says the birds don't pay him no mind, Just a big floating log.

You should try a Kayak paddle Man I found it alot easier to pull my gun up while using it

I actually did make the switch for the following hunt. I limited in about 1/3 of the distance and about 1/3 of the shooting as well. It made a world of difference. That video should be out soon.

Look like you need to get coasting good not paddling into the bend and be on the gun before making a bend , we walk our creeks here an watch for ripples in the water as your easing up to it they swim out an it’s over with lol .

This was my first real jump shoot. I took it as a learning experience and repeated the process with some corrections and was able to get my limit in about 1/3 of time and distance. Follow up video coming soon.

@@ABIDEOUTDOORS me an cousin have been traveling east of us over an hour an up to 4-5 hours north into Oklahoma looking for better public land to hunt just no success. Our next idea is to learn Arkansas public land with the rest of them . Maybe one day we will possess some private land to hunt or aquire hunting rights to such of a place that has good duck hunting most every year .
