Nice yellowtail, and man I can tell you that the tarpon season has definitely begun down here. I was just at the long key bridge last weekend and when the water cleared up on the incoming tide we could see hundreds of them sitting on the bottom with their faces in the current between the main bridge and the pier. Im looking forward to hopefully landing one this year, I hope you are able to as well, good luck! 👍😎🤙✌

Bro idk whats wrong with the boats in the keys. 10 years ago that was not a problem, but now there are clearly loads of people who have no business operating a boat, doing stupid annoying crap like that. about 3 weeks ago I had a small 17 ft boat with 5 dudes on it come up right under the bridge (channel 5) to ask me if I've seen permit. You cannot deploy bait under a bobber because it will get picked up by some dumbass on a boat. And then if you decide to kayak fish LOL very few people are aware of wakes. Especially at bill baggs, not like they have signs everywhere saying minimum wake manatee zone lol.

I agree, at one point it got hectic out there. We had the same thing happen to us at another bridge. A boat captain pulled up running all over our lines to ask us, if we had seen tarpons. And kayaking at Baggs is a no, no, it's full throttle all the time. lol

@@XtremeH18 Lol, that reminds me at baggs I once had a boat pull up 30 ft in front of the pier I was fishing, drop anchor, and cast TOWARD my pier. I was amazed. I just stood there with my arms open like wtf bro.
