You use the Th% for electric because it varies with the throttle and mimics the reduced amp flow from the battery you get at reduced throttle position as a result the time of a flight at full throttle will be less than a flight at part throttle for the same time limit. As far as several timers I use them on gliders one is a count down for the Motor and called Motor and the other is a count up timer THt which times the total time of the flight and is called Flight.

Hi Bill. I did the set-up of the timer as shown, but when the throttle is down, the timer keeps running, if I use the switch to reset the timer, the same happens, the timer runs regardless of the throttle stick position, where do I go wrong?

Jan more than likely with the Timer 1 type in the Model Setup window make sure it is THs and in Special Functions check you selected Reset and checked the box on the far right. Let me know how you get on.

@@the-happy-RC-flyer I meticulously checked all steps by pausing the video regulary and it should work, but it doesn't... As a last resort I selected Th% and now it works! Software glitch? I'm still running the software version the Tx came with (7ee5b1d0 2020-04-28).

@@janspoelstra8309 in the Special Functions did you select Reset and not Set Tmr1?
