Bill, fantastic work... I missed this when it first came out... Thanks for doing this for the F5K pilots out there... This should allow them to at least practice 50 meter (or whatever) launches without needing a separate altimeter. The official F5K rules are still in flux... The separate altimeter may be required for contests, but it's great to have options!

So are you thinking of using flaps or flaperons as air brakes? The only concern I would have is the accuracy of the variometer, would the air brake deploy to high from the ground. EdgeTX could be programmed to to do this.

Yes, I use flaps as an air brake and I want a security so that the flaps will not be torn off if I forget to fold them in.@@the-happy-RC-flyer

You need to set up your standard model. The protocol you need to select FlySky, Subtype try Std.
