I agree, I just literally just got the boxer. Looking for a good all can do remote to take place of my DJI proprietary remote. I wish this came out a week before now I have to worry about selling this boxer now.

​@@blackwater7183stick with the Boxer, I have both and the T20S ain't bad but the sticks ends are flimsy and will break. Mine was broke on arrival when I removed the stick end to replace. They ended up shipping me a new gimbal

no microsd but it has 490mb of internal storage, more than enough for custom sounds. new shells coming in like pocket. you can buy folding antenna which is already available.

What size are the two position switches? Kind of want to see if I can replace those with push button switches to make it less susceptible to damage when I put it in a bag.

did it end up replacing your Zorro? I fly fixed wing and love my Zorro way more than my TX16s. But there are some planes in my fleet that require another switch or two. This radio looks like it would handle those great. But dang...I really love the ergonomics of the Zorro.

I like it due to the fact that the buttons have a symetrical mechanism. It actually bothers me like when one button is a latch type and one the other side a momentary. Lol.

It's not a good idea to have the antenna and RF board on different halves of the case, *particularly* when it's necessary to open the radio to make adjustments. Those antenna connectors are often rated for a very small number of connect/disconnect cycles.

yes as I've said opening it is a bit harder with too many sensitive wires, but spring tension out of the box was ok, and you only need to open it once

I've measured the screw hole dimensions they should fit perfectly, also someone has fitted them in a Radioking TX18S(it's a Jumper clone), but you need to modify the connector wires as Jumper has only one wire for VCC and GND

I think it's an earlier version, no folding antenna on it, but bought one, i did come with the metal handle.

Why did thy discontinue this version and only keep making the T20s with out the hall gimbles? Seams like going back to a pot is a huge step back in technology.

they still make a hall gimbal version, it just has the fancy gimbals but still with hall sensor, only the RDC90 version has pots, but good pots

Larger gimbals feel better to me. It almost looks like this has full size gimbals but in a boxer size case I really like it but can't justify spending more money on radios when I have 4.

Доброго дня, купив собі таку ж апаратуру, для симулятора і в майбутньому для FPV. Питання: модуль erls в цієї моделі стандартний? Тобто на цю апаратуру можна поставити антену 2.4 Ггц і 915 Мгц? І в комплектацію замовив джойстики на Rdc 90, вони дійсно краще ніж датчик хола? І ще хотів спитати з якої моделі бюджетного дрону почати?

I think hall version is good enough, RDC90 should have better linearity and response , you can only have ELRS internal module on 2.4G or 915 not both, or put one external TX module

yes, they're SW1-6 but you can create mixes so it acts like one channel

depends on which stock the shop has, the first batch were using T18 gimbals and stick antenna, newer batches have different gimbals and foldable antenna but also cost more

After so many years of flying since DJI came out with Air unit, I dont understand why I would use another controler. If you loose video and you dont have GPS rescue nothing is going to save you even if your radio cand send signals around the globe.

WAY to many switches, knobs, and wheels! Especially the two switches on top! Those are begging to get snapped off. No module bay. Hopefully they make a lite version with just 2 switches, module bay, and alot less money for us kwad pilots. I counted 14 needless switches and wheels.

It is, having to break it open to adjust the tension is rubbish. Plus mine on arrival, the stick end thread insert came out of the gimbal on arrival. So they had to send me a new gimbal. They're really flimsy

Jumper will never be an option for me until they bring up the quality and reliability. The quality just isn't their! I'll never buy Anything Jumper!

I had the Jumper T16, T18, T-Lite, T-Pro all worked with no issues, still use T18 rarely , also had RM TX16S, RK TX18S; and RM Zorro which I still use

I've been running a Jumper T-lite v2 for about a year. I haven't had any quality issues with it yet. It took my Terannis X-lite about 2yrs before internal gimbal wires started breaking. Over all I'm really happy with the T-lite.

Yup jumper QC is absolutely crap. Had a jumper radio that came and wouldn't charge. Turns put the usb board has cold solder joints everywhere. One of the inductors had bad contact. Also the battery contact was badly designed and would be bent if radio is bumped or dropped. Never another jumper again.

Perhaps i am an Radiomaster fanboy but i think this is really ugly. I can't imagine the economics is better than a Zorro or Boxer.

I have the Zorro and Boxer kzbin.info/www/bejne/apLYdHmrr7R9ras , Boxer is almost the same size as the TX16S but Boxer ergonomics is not good as you can't reach the two upper push buttons when also moving the sticks

@@andrewbt87 I just watched this video, I have a TX16S and wanted to get me another Zorro Max, the Boxer also does not attract me. Is there anything to consider with the Zorro, I wanted to put in 1400mah and umbrella stick ends.
