I usually go 4 wraps on my Teflon but I see no problem with your method as shown. Good job as always jumper 👌

I was taught to never twist a Guage like you do, only get it started a few turns then snug with a wretch so you don't damage the Guage internals by pushing or pulling on its housing..

Great video, thank you… I like to date my gauges just so I know how old they are. Not sure what the manufacturer life spans are…. I probably wrap 3 to 4 times. I’m a tape and paste guy

I guess it depends on the clearance between the male and female thread, the wear on them etc

All the black pipe accumulate mud n junk and clogs up, especially those reducing elbows. Switching to brass helps with that.

We do those a lot as a millwright and align them it can be a pain. I feel your pain on getting wet it’s happened a lot to me. Awesome video bro keep it up.

Right on. Snubbers can help lengthen the life of guages that dont have glycerin. Won't help with ports getting plugged though.
