Yep, we jumped a fence bigger than my horse!
The annual Christmas show at my barn- and we took part in the costume jumping/puissance (height jumping)! Cara is only about 1.56cm (15.1hh) and we won the puissance by jumping 1.60m 😱 we knocked down the 1.60m jump, and I decided not to give it a second try since she already performed so well and actually jumped a fence that’s bigger than her. But we still won by clearing 1.50m. Such an awesome little horse, and an amazing experience!

What do u mean she is talented?? The only talent I see is the horse, the rider is just balancing off the horses mouth and steering it into the jump. The rider has no fucking talent. I bet u don't even know what riding actually is

Katelyn Wallace Are there even people this ignorant in the world? Unless you have jumped a 1.60 meter jump with a horse then I wouldn’t be talking. The horse is clearly strung up, and the rider is sitting back with all the weight in her heels and releasing at the exact moment. Also- What do you mean balancing with the mouth? The rider is balancing with her legs around the horses barrel. It’s not like your putting weight on the reigns...That doesn’t make sense. And generally speaking you don’t even steer with the reigns, you steer with your feet. They are an amazing pair and the rider is exceptional as well as the horse. This comment is clearly one of ignorance and I suppose I can’t fault you for uninformed opinions...

Katelyn Wallace also Therese has produced cara from a nervous, underweight 90cm jumper, to a horse that trusts her enough and is capable enough to canter to and,jump a fence bigger than herself! She is a very talented rider with a very talented horse!

I had a horse named caliber (Dutch warm blood) . He had jumped 150cm in his lifetime. Randomly (I did not notice the height) my coach increased the height of the fence to 160cm and he flew past it AS A 6 YEAR OLD HORSE.

sunnyhorses 04 their bones are fully developed over the age of 6, which means there will be no damage to the horse (maybe if it were on hard ground that would be a whole different situation)

Plus these horses are bred for it. A century of selective breeding has made these horses legs extremely strong, and able to withstand the demands of today’s courses.
