Tip: use the off cuts to practice layering to get back into the feel of the paper. I'm not going to blow smoke up yer clacker. The fail on your Morgan Freeman portrait threw your confidence. I get it. Try using an odourless solvent to spread a base colour without hurting the tooth of the paper. It will give you a buffer to add more layers if you need them. Or you could ignore my suggestions, either way, it's your work 😊

So glad to see you're back..... how did you print on Stonehenge paper? I have a Canon printer too and it absolutely refuses to print on cotton, it either gets stuck or doesn't grip it properly and prints multiple passes in one line and then has a meltdown. I looked it up and have read many others say you cannot print on Stonehenge paper for this reason. My printer prints fine on normal paper but not cotton. I wonder how you go it to work?

I don't understand your sketch. Do you print out a very light copy of the photo and then draw on top of that? It just seemed like there were so many lines for the contours of the face. Or did I miss something?
