New motor for Arrma Kraton: get a Castle 1717. 1580 kv. With the max 6 ESC. you already have, with about a 22t pinnion, it will be a beast. Keep in mind you will need a aftermarket motor mount for big motors and pinnions. One that sits higher than the stock one. Hot racing motor mount works, but you still need to add shims under it for enough clearence.

Nah I think the kraton now is too heavy with all the mods, it needs a 4082 or 4092 motor with a low kv so he can run 6s or 8s

Hey Kev, I see a lot of people using the Leopard 1730kv 4092 motor with the Max6. I personally am rebuilding my Talion with that setup, and the JustBashIt parts as well. Also, I run duel fans on all my motors because they tend to get real hot under a hard bash, and will seize up, or spin a bearing. Open up that motor can on the Kraton and check the bearings. Could be as simple as that. Great vid Kev!!👍👍
