I do love the way the little spooders "wave" at you hehe. Adorable. And I know the enclosures aren't the same quality as the coffins, but they're real cute because of all the care and thought you put into em :)

When they look up at me and turn there heads like a dog, it cracks me the fuck up. 😂😂 And thanks man. 🙏🏻🖤 But you already know I've got enclosures ready and waiting for them. 😂😂 I CANT WAIT!! One of the females may actually be ok in the reg coffins I have. But the other two, not ready yet. I am happy with how these came out. If they weren't plastic and just clear/easy to film through I think id have less of an issue with it.

@MakenzieHallie2 ай бұрын
Thanks Chris! So jumpers can eat alot of things, depending on their size and sometimes what they want. But as micro spiders, lol, when they first start eating they get fed "flightless fruit flies." Then they will graduate up to small mealworms, crickets, even very small horn worms! Alot of folks don't like mealworms because they can eventually transform into a beetle that can pose a threat to the jumpers. But, if your controlling the feeding like me or don't use a substrate, it'll be fine. (Again, that's what I largely feed.) My babies get flightless fruit flies and as soon as they hit about i5, so, "fifth molt old", move onto meal worms. Or crickets.

I'm no jumper expert, but I will always let you guys know when there is something I'm not positive on. Do some googling on jumper eyesight as well as there intelligence / in comparison to other spiders or tarantulas. Fascinating and makes them even cooler!! 🖤🙏🏻🕷️

@@MakenzieHallie Do they eat every day?
@MakenzieHallie2 ай бұрын
So that depends. The younger they are, higher the metabolism , generally the more frequent you want to feed them. So for example my tiny tiny babies that just hatched I'm giving multiple fruit flies a piece, every other day, but enough flies in each enclosure so they all have access to food at all times. (The fruit flies are larger then them still) Some will eat every day, some could skip a day. As for a sub adult let's say, same kind of principle. I feed them meal worms they are confident enough to grab, every other day if they want it. Usually sitting at 1 to 3 days. Still very active and high metabolism. Adults, can go alot longer. BUT You base it largely on the actual appearance of there abdomen. Because I hand feed and control feed my adults, it is more frequent then most id say. (Because I enjoy it.) Colleen will throw four mealies in a bowl for her spider and he's good to self feed for weeks. But, id say the general is feeding a full meal every 4 or 5 days or so at most. Sub adults, I have some that when they are gearing up for a molt will take a worm every day for a few days then not eat for two weeks/ in molt/or even longer. Some will flat out refuse food all together before a molt. And after they will let you know when they are ready to eat again. (Many days). If I'm giving them massive mealies (adult jumpers) it's definitely going to get spread out longer to a few days, 5 even 6 days, then offer another. But it's rare I'll go past 4 days without offering at least to my adults. But again, just all based on appearance. When they have a big fat bum, they don't need food. (Exceptions here of course is if we're talking about the way an adult gravid female looks right before she drops and egg sac.) But every day there abdomen will get a little smaller, a little smaller/more shriveled. Then, feed. Wait. Look at the head/body daily and make the call. But ALOT of the time the spiders are making the call for you. They will let you know by the behavior if they are hungry or not. Out searching for water or food or not. Overfeeding is something we want to avoid, as it can be dangerous. Spiders and tarantulas are extremely delicate. If they are overfed and have a bad fall, that's it. Abdomen will detach and it's game over. But again, most spoods will kind of regulate themselves so that isn't a real worry. 🖤🕷️✨ But water, I give a light mist to the inner wall of the enclosure, once every couple days or again some I'll do every day depending on the origin of said spider. Apologies in advance if your new here and did NOT expect an extremely detailed and long winded response from me. 🤣😂 It's just my nature and I know it's annoying.

@MakenzieHallie2 ай бұрын
You heard that correct. But it is 67 to be exact. And that's a smaller amount too. Ranges 100 to 300 usually. 😂 I will be selling them! I'll of course keep a few, but no, once they start getting a little older cannibalism and fighting will start to happen. That's when I will do the final separations.

Absolutely! As long as it has proper ventilation and it's in a more arboreal shape, you can use almost anything! If we're not looking at clarity over time, warping, etc. You can find a good cheap home probably around your house!

Yea I mostly just like jumping spiders/tarantulas. But I'm not flipping out and smashing any other spider for no reason. Instead of killing something that did nothing to you, next time, you can just calm down and move it. You know that right? Also. That's a big brown recluse...they grow to about an inch just fyi.
