Well, podium isn't quite certain anymore as other people are getting awfully good at GFred, but it can certainly translate to "no major choke and possibly top 5".

Mabye this is common knowledge in Gfred, but i've never seen Broughy mention it; if you see the train at the start of a gfred (or hear it) ( 2:43 ), its also gonna show up on the way down of chiliad (15:25) . If you make it there without issues, its gonna be no real problem like in this race, but eg if you had some trouble at the airport you gonna run into the train a bit later at some of the longer bridges. Edit some examples: Gfred 189: min 3:09 train at bridge, min 16:01 train in tunnel Gfred 185: min 2:53 you hear train at bridge, min 15:17 shows up on the way down Gfred 183: min 2:43 you hear train at bridge, min 15:32 train in tunnel Gfred 178: min 2:53 you hear train at bridge , min 15:51 shows up on the way down

Amazed at how long you kept that 9F looking good! Kudos! But that dismount after the observatory... that I've never seen before. You are soooo good at that I was shocked when you crashed. Well, can't be perfect all the time!! Good race!!!!

GFRED SUMMARY SERIES Gfred #293: The Lobby Bug’s Loophole . . . . SPOILER ALERT After a nice Drag Kings Race, we jump straight into Gfred (because he did it just to work around the stupid Bug). He really is quite close to go Full-on FiveM but he couldn’t abandon his Console Crew Mates. He got Sarmedic invited first, and wait for him to enter before anyone else can. Inviting from the Last Job should work. XDW asked for another Invite, which he already did. Joughy donated “Just when you thought you could escape, it pulls you right back in!” Princess Charm asked about the new 6 Dollar Donation. So, let’s start before the game breaks again. Bagginz asked “What color cycle?” But then RBS said “Sarmedic crashed again” The hoops we get through to get this race started, hopefully this is a full lobby, with Skyppaii made a perfectly timed 6 Dollar Donation. We’re back to Gfred Adventure with 29 people again because we lost one. Ah… this game. The host of the Gfred’s prior session is always crash unless the Host is from a Single Player Solo Session. Get everyone for the Session, Sacrifice somebody for a Pre-Lobby Race, so HE can host the Gfred then Invite all from Last Job, and catch the person who crashed back into the lobby first. ALL of that just to get races to start in this game. All because of the Crashing Issues we’re having. And even THEN, we still lost someone regardless. Feel bad for Sarmedic, our Guinea Pig, being bullied after having La Coureuse in the Color Playlist. Despite all the effort everyone went through. At least we have ‘Max’ 29, the most we’re allowed to, Thanks Rockstar. Crazy Davey Boy said “Small indie developer. Things like this are to be expected.” Ah… unbelievable. Danni asked “is that an issue in Xbox only or all vanilla?” and it was ALL of them. What happened to him is that the first race he did after SA Mercenaries in Saturday for PC, and when he crashed, he immediately ragequit to FiveM. It’s almost not worth the effort these days. As he got himself a Premier, Trisk said “TBF, these same issues are on 8th gear after the first 200 people” But that one is worth the issue for the experience. But actual Indie Devs in their spare time. This is a same old race that already worked for the past ten years, from AAA Rockstar Games. Phil said “And chances are 8th Gear will fix it” but we’re here again, doing regular GTA Gfred. His Target today seems to be around Top 5. Wins are out of Question these days. And he appreciates people loving the Donation Sound made in response to the problems of this DLC. He encouraged his Premier to hold up cars behind him in the Quarry. K64 said “Is the most profitable piece of media in the history of media. It really should be better for that stuff” And he hit Ronkeys’ Schafter and with the train ahead, he just swerved to the right where it past the earliest. He needs a better car now, but it seems to be Slim Pickings today. He sees Schafters, Zions, and Buffalos. The latter is probably the best one so far. He followed several people who choose to peel off. Premier is not going to cut it for the Highway. AND! He sees F620s, in a row. He’d rather keep the Premier, which pissed off another F620 driver who spun him out- but then he got a 9F. okay. He’s now in 19th. And Skyppaii made the 6.20 Donation. He's already 36 seconds behind in the Quarry. He lost the time peeling off as he barely dodged between a Vader and Premier in Legion Square. And he already seen the Leaders past him at South Central. He overtook Lukester’s Felon for 15th. And he had a jumpscare from Hollywood Guns’s Schafter almost blocking his Airport Jump. That was close. And there’s cars everywhere on the Dismoount while Hollywod blew up. Luke Tempest’s Oracle hitting an FQ2 causing a jam on the Bottleneck didn’t help at all. At least he’s in Top Ten now. He’s really conscious not damaging this too much, because that’s what he always does with 9Fs. Trying to be a little bit more careful as he reached 8th. There’s a big gap ahead that he almost can’t see anyone on the map though. Now he’s 1:21 behind Vince in the Airport. They probably already got 9F or Bullet or something. Elite Coconut is 42 second ahead, so Top Five might be possible. We always say Top Five is always possible. He had false hope of facing someone trying to change car but change his mind instead of one going back from the Peeling Off. And he encountered an Infernus facing south too. Maybe the Top Guys got Infernuses now. Mr. Darkside is going back to chase a 9F, so he did have the advantage. Remember, if you go back for a car, you’d lose so much time. It’s not worth the change… depending on the car. Infernus may be better than 9F for him, but it’s so difficult to stop AND U-Turn at Full Speed. He should be better to just fully concentrate on the 9F. He’s now 7th after the River Jump, two more places for a Top Five. In a Full Lobby too, not like Top Five out of 15. Riding the Rails is so Difficult but Awesome if you managed to. Now for Chiliad. He needs to remember the Hybrid Route since he still believes it’s the fastest one for a long time, since the Chiliad Time Trial in the Adder. And he’s now 6th somehow. Someone probably took Elevator. And he managed to dodge the incoming Buffalo of RBS coming down. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be good for his 9F’s health. Still, with that Buffalo around, he could still be making up places here. He did the Summit Checkpoint carefully, concentrating and be decent. Now he gained time on everybody, 1:01 behind Vince. He refused everyone’s temptations of saying “SEND IT” Looking after the car did him well. Not giving into the Peer Pressure this time. He’s now 15 seconds behind XDW on 5th too. He took the Raton Bridge perfectly timed after slowed down slightly for Leo’s 9F to pass. He barely sees XDW on the map. And of course, there’s train blocking the Third Smaller Bridges. Trying to get around made him hit rocks instead of waiting for it tho. The train is shorter than he thought. That 3.30 Dollar Donation is very well timed too. The most likely reason why he caught up to Chiliad is people are changing cars on Senora Road. He’s definitely catching up to XDW by Arthur’s Trail. The Bushes gave him minor troubles too. XDW just left the Observatory as he enters it. AND of course, he hit a Tree right at the end of Dismount Hill, Head On. After keeping it nice and clean for so long, he started to push it more as it reaching the end. Not to mention he gone desperate for 5th too. He’s still proud on how well he’s been keeping it though. This will not go like this at every race, as he flips some more at Zancudo Entrance. And he BARELY avoids a Patriot crossing at the end. No way for that to just happen. XDW took the Josiah Parchute though, so he had the chance with Hail Mary. But with the 9F being trashed, it’s a lot more difficult. Alright, it’s all about this, as Verdilith took the win after being 2nd for a long time. He didn’t gain much on the Top Five after the Observatory and even then, it’s only towards XDW. And he did the Parachute decently well despite facing the wrong way and requiring a U-Turn. He believed someone swims under him too. Both RBS and XDW, so 4th is possible, but he’s not sure he’s high enough for the Swings, so all he can do is to just regular Parachuting. But at least he managed to land on the island… which cost him 4th because XDW swooped into the Checkpoint directly. Regular parachute was the right decision for him. Still 4th. He’s still Top Five though, from 19th when he got that 9F. That’s not too bad, pretty happy with that run. Il Quickz became a wedge to a Sandking at the bottom of Chiliad. He kept the 9F relatively clean, it was a great Hail Mary but it was good enough. And Zearxy ame to congratulate him for the Top Five. XDW said “I wanted to add some drama by taking the OG Chute line… LUL GG you were catching up a lot, Buffalo did me proud Broughy.” And Josiah Parachute was a good decision, and it worked for XDW and Entertainment. The Josiah Parachute did still have some play. That Downwards Parachute Methods requires more Height, which he didn’t have and he just took some Swing. And that cost him 4th. Verdilith gave out some Gift Subs. And we’re currently 96% into the RP Goal. Espanyol said “No need to read mine out, it did its job just fine 😊”, it was referring to Distraction Donation. Phil said “Try pointing your char towards Broughy-island before pulling the chute”, and he already tried, depends on the angle he came out of the car. Espanyol said “And then you crashed into the rocks 😊” And now RP Goal is achieved and we get No Rules Gfred next Sunday. He’s unsure what platform is it though. At least that will give him some views. Summer then came to visit. Next week, he said he plans to do FOUR Different Gfreds. But now one of them will be No Rules. Nightly said “do you call it hashtag or hashlabel?” and the Platform is probably Vanilla and all planned, but he won’t spoil what it is. Though one of them is PS4 only while the other two can be done at any Platform. Maybe one is in PC too. One of each Vanilla Platform. Kind of like the SnowFred Day. But he will explain all of that next Sunday. You’ll know what the deal with it next week. Wondersniff said “A special all Gfred stream for your birthday? Nice” And of course Zearxy sings a certain song. And we have a big Top to Bottom gap of Six Minutes. Meanwhile, Elite is 3rd, Darkside and RBS claimed 6th and 7th. Bagginz is 9th. Luke is 12th. And Leo is 15th. So, GG for the Top Guys and their close battles. And everyone gives him a Happy Birthday too. He’s happy to play Vanilla for everyone else. But FiveM is still a much better experience.

Simple work around to avoid crash. Go into crew or friend only Lobby. Make sure you are alone in your session. Launch the job. Invite everyone from your friends list/crew list (does require they be friends or crew). your game doesn't crash when you start the job. You just have to be in a session alone when you start the job. I think it's a resources load issue, and it doesn't matter how much ram or GPU power you have..... Anyway, try it. It has been working out great for me and my friends on PC without crashing in ages

That's fine for a smaller group, but when you're aiming for a full lobby (most of which are crew members rather than friends) you're relying on GTA's invite system to send out invites to everyone who needs them. That never happens because it's broken and unreliable. Maybe 10 people will get an invite and the rest not. That's why we had to "invite from last job" from a solo session which is more reliable and therefore go through the process explained at the start.

@@broughy1322 I did pay attention to that. Just saying it's worked fine for me for 25 players on PC. I just make sure everyone has left their CEO/motorcycle club, and no-one is doing another activity.... maybe it's a, Less people on Australasians servers? Or mines the steam version of gta? Who knows???? Anyway, thought I would give my 2 cents Thanks for responding btw, I really actually appreciate it. I'm a fan and watch your videos pretty much the moment they come out. Cheers man

It shouldn't matter if that host wasn't going to participate anyway... Or does your good lady wife have her own separate internet connection for her own gaming needs?... Wr have a thing like this on 8th Gear called teamfred. You are teamed up with one other person at random and get in the same car together. You then switch drivers at every checkpoint. Your finishing position is determined by where the second person on your team finishes. We've done this a few times and it's quite fun.

It's been done already by S1PAC on PC, well at least the rails section has been scripted. Riding the rails the entire time saves 17 seconds compared to a normal record run. Obviously not possible by a human, but interesting nonetheless
