It's what happens when you get a smooth but solid hitboxing with the front bumper before the wheels take off. If you've ever done some stunt races there are a couple of supercars that you just can't quite launch straight and true over big jumps.

Chiliad was perfect! I loved how the 9F slid down perfectly onto the path after the checkpoint jump. FYI to anyone looking at the pins in Broughy's store, I would definitely recommend picking them up. I got one of each, and am very happy with them(nice and solid, great coloring, no blemishes). Shipping to the US was also cheaper than I had expected. Don't let the inexpensive price tag fool you, they are nice pieces, and something any GFREDer needs in their collection.

Crazy how, without its front bumper, the 9F gets oversensitive on everything, including the slightest bushes. That tiny little bush bottled the whole Hail Merry. Well, anyway, nice race overall ^^

I'm proud of the Felon for that 5th place. It's a bit underpowered but a decent gfred car. The hill mary was out of the question because I flipped down chilliad and it was ruined. It even stalled the engine and I couldn't accelerate unless I stopped the car completely

Frozenhunt is right up the top with RBS and Verdilith too, he recently smashed the DerfG record that RBS previously had. I wouldn't be surprised if FrozenHunt is the next person to get a sub 16 min time, he set an insane PS4 world record time recently too. 16:14.722.

I think going to the right on the run to the hiway was the exact right call. I think the mistake you made was not going far enuff. I think when you go to the right you need to cross the first hiway to get to the traffic coming from the right hand side. That way you have the first pick of cars. You went for the car coming from the left that would have been a distraction to anyone coming behind you...

Like I am not asking for every race to be a win, but I feel we may be in a "too casual take" universe by now. And while the chaos IS fun, don't get me wrong... They practice Gfred a lot. Some of it is luck based of course, but when it's guys like Verdilith and RBS they know how to maximize every part of the track. Brake boosting and getting as many curb boosts as possible is important too, those top guys know every brake boost on the map basically lol.

There are way too many turbo nerd tryhards doing gfred these days. Not only does it make videos less interesting because Broughy has no chance of competing against these no-lifers, but it removes any chance of a random newbie to compete and surprise everyone with a win.
