Thanks! I love your tutorials. As a alternative, one can also check the Normal Direction. So, OnBeginOverlap, check Normal. If -1, Phase, if 1, Solid, .......but the most efficient way, in my opinion, is to just add a plane above your platform, and set Use Complex as Simple Collision, and set the platform to NoCollision. This again will use the Normal of the plane automatically. No BP, no nodes, no traces... nice and clean. Just a switch in the Static Mesh, and you're done.

hey man! great tutorial with clear explanations, managed to pull off the third type of platform thanks to this. it seems as if getting multiple platforms in the same scene occasionally messes things up though? for some reason, jumping from one platform to another makes my character clip through them. I've fiddled around with the code for about an half an hour, but I couldn't find a solution in the end. got any ideas as to what may be causing this, and how to fix it? and again, thanks for the tutorial!
